Mukono District NGO Forum (MUDINFO) organized an exhibition in October from 18th -20th October 2018 at Mukono District Headquarters. The exhibition was one of its kind to be organized in Mukono District and aimed at achieving the objectives below.
-To show various activities done by various member organizations.
-To raise resources towards MUDINFO strategic developments like MUDINFO Headquarters.
-To showcase the various activities done by other organizations.
-Increase visibility of MUDINFO and its member Organizations as well as provide a common platform for networking.
Youth Creativity @ Hand Uganda is a not for profit, Non-Government Organization that focuses on empowering youth and women with life-skills to cope with life-changing situations. YCH-U operates in Seeta-Ggongobe Zone, Goma Division, Mukono District, Uganda.
Our intervention is identifying a strategy that can support a collective approach and increase levels of competence among its team and other stakeholders in creating more jobs, better approach to community mobilization, reducing youth participation in unproductive behaviors, and identify actions to address youth unemployment challenges.
History: Turning Point Resolutions (TPR) started as a sole proprietorship on 24th October, 1995, was first registered with the Registrar of Business Names in Uganda on 30th October, 2003 as a general merchandise shop of 1st 2nd hand clothes, cakes, decorations and ten years later TPR registered on 24th October, 2013 as a Limited Company limited by Guarantee. TPR has a Baby Care and Nursery School and a Development Centre.
Objectives: TPR Development Centre is a community based not for profit organization with an overall objective to provide mechanisms for both individuals and communities to meet their socio-economic needs in the short and long term in collaboration with all stakeholders. The specific objectives are to train in basic agricultural, entrepreneurship, environmental, planning and financial management; train in life skills, catering, tailoring, hairdressing, bakery, jewelry and art and crafts; promote health and environmental related services; and to provide counseling to children, youth, married couples, HIV/AIDS affected and infected families. Beneficiaries are children, youth, women and men.
